I grew up listening to TLC, Bel Biv Devoe (Never trust a big butt and a smile)

and Run DMC. Whereas I was too young to be cool, I tried.

A lot of brillant art and culture evolved in the 80's and early 90's. Some might argue it was the Golden Age of Hip Hop.

I came across some brilliant hip hop portraits, mostly taken in New York City.

This series is indulgent. I'd like to add a few more breakdancers to the mix someday.
